Open Access Policy
Open Access Policy: Indonesian Journal of Economics (IJE)
Indonesian Journal of Economics (IJE) is a fully open-access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or their institution. This policy is based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
1. Immediate Open Access
All articles published in IJE are made immediately available worldwide under an open-access license. This means:
-
Everyone has free and unlimited access to the full text of all articles published in IJE.
-
Everyone is free to re-use the published material if proper accreditation/citation of the original publication is given.
2. Licensing (Creative Commons)
To ensure the wide dissemination and use of research, IJE applies the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license to all published articles.
Under this license, users are allowed to:
-
Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
-
Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
-
Attribution: Users must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.
-
ShareAlike: If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.
3. Copyright and Author Rights
Authors who publish with the Indonesian Journal of Economics (IJE) agree to the following terms:
-
Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License.
-
Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.
4. Self-Archiving Policy
IJE encourages authors to self-archive their articles. Authors are permitted to deposit all versions of their paper (Submitted version, Accepted version, and Published version/Version of Record) in an institutional or other repository of their choice (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu, or personal websites) to facilitate broader dissemination.
5. No Subscription Fees
IJE does not require any subscription or "pay-per-view" fees to access the full-text articles. We believe that eliminating barriers to access promotes equity in the global scientific community.
